About GrindLab
GrindLab, the poker analysis tool built to go straight to the point.
GrindLab helps you analyze a hand fast and well, manage your ranges, and pressure-test your spots against a community of players. Built by two players, for players and the coaches who teach them.
Our mission
GrindLab exists to remove the friction between a hand you played and the insight you need from it. Open your history, click a hand, and you're already in the lab. No copy-paste, no reformatting, no losing context. The whole product is designed to make analysis fast enough that you can actually do it between sessions.
GrindLab is opinionated: speed first, depth on demand, surgical multiway analysis, and tooling that grows with you from your first import to your hundredth coaching review.
How GrindLab started
GrindLab was started in 2026 by Paul and Thomas, two associates and lifelong poker players. We were both spending hours a week analyzing hands across a patchwork of solvers, spreadsheets, and trackers, and we kept hitting the same wall: every tool was either fast and shallow, or deep but unusable mid-session.
We built GrindLab as the tool we wished we had: an opinionated, fast workspace that ties your hand history (cash, MTT, spins) directly to deep analysis, and treats coaching as a first-class workflow rather than an afterthought.
The four pillars of GrindLab
From play to analysis in one click
GrindLab is the direct bridge between your hand database (cash, MTT, spins) and your analysis. Import a session, filter, analyze. No technical friction.
Surgical, multiway analysis
GrindLab filters the range at every action of every opponent, multiway handled natively. You get concrete, mathematical verdicts on each decision rather than a wall of percentages.
Library and ranges
Manage your full library inside GrindLab, import the ranges your coach builds, export your own. Browse your analysis history and see your review progression over time.
A direct line with your coach
GrindLab gives you a privileged channel with your coach inside the platform: session reviews, hand reviews, statistics, all shared in real time.
Coaches at the heart of GrindLab
Most poker tools treat coaching as a side feature. GrindLab inverts that: we're building a coach to student journey where shared hands, ranges, and verdicts become the unit of progress. A coach drops in, leaves structured feedback on a real spot, and the student keeps that thread for review, all inside GrindLab.
If you teach poker, GrindLab is being shaped to be the place where your students do their work.
Founders
GrindLab is built and operated by Paul and Thomas, the two co-founders. Two players who got tired of jumping between tools, and decided to build the one they wished they had.
